The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is pleased to announce that in partnership with the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO), the PSA will premiere the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) ceremonial event “#IDnatin: Maghanda at Makiisa sa Makabagong Pilipinas” on Friday, 19 March 2021, 1:00PM. via official PhilSys Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/PSAPhilSysOfficial/).
To encourage the public to register, the livestream will feature the registration of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and Mr. Bryan Gatchalian, a low-income household head identified by Senator Panfilo Lacson III during his sponsorship speech for the PhilSys. It will also showcase pre-recorded keynote speeches from Acting Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Karl Kendrick T. Chua of the National Economic and Development Authority, Governor Benjamin E. Diokno of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, and PSA Undersecretary Dennis S. Mapa, National Statistician and Civil Registrar General.
