This is to notify the public of the proliferating Facebook users and groups who are unlawfully charging fees for assistance to secure online booking of appointments for Step 2 Registration to the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys).
The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) strongly discourages the public from engaging with such services and reiterates that PhilSys registration, including booking of appointments for Step 2, is completely FREE OF CHARGE.
PSA ensures that individuals and/or groups involved in such activities will be reported to authority for investigation and proper sanctions.
We remind the public to be mindful and always safeguard their personal information.
We strongly advise the public to be vigilant and immediately report individuals or accounts found to offer such services via the PhilSys hotline 1388 or info@philsys.gov.ph.
